Pelosi's bad hair day

well the problem lies in pretending to be judicious and playing favorites.

you can be within the law, or subject to it, but you can't be above it.

so if you're pretending to be self-righteous and leading people astray, then you are the more immoral one. its one thing to make a bad choice but it's another to encourage others to do like wise through ignorance.

hypocrisy is the ultimate sin. its wanton and flagrant disregard.
I like the idea of entrapping politicians.
If they suspected that giving in to the temptation of illegality
could lead to being exposed for it, they'd behave better.
But entrapment hasn't been established in this case.
It's only Pelosi's claim.

this is small fish.

they aren't enforcing face mask mandates in most places.

she took the mask off to have a shampoo. BIG DEAL.

if you want to drain the swamp, start at the top with the demagogue.

when the support is dropped for those 40 million people who don't have a way of meeting their basic needs, these riots are going to be nothing compared to what the chaos to come will be like.

you talk about angry. going to be some very angry people then. making laws doesn't make it necessarily right.

I agree, & already said so (in different terms).

This isn't about Trump.
It appears that Pelosi violated the law.
She excuses it by saying she was "entrapped".
This is what I find interesting.

this is about trump. its about extremists trying to justify a demagogue while gagging over a face mask.

this didn't happen in a vacuum.

Pelosi shouldn't be doing that at all, I think the business was closed for the pandemic but opened up for her?
The setup part makes sense because why would the owner share the vdeo? Weird.

cause and effect.

why were the photos leaked to fox news?

why not leak them to all news agencies?
Trump didn't set up Pelosi.
She made her own choice.
As for news sources, some are more interested
in Pelosi, while others are more so about Trump.

the person leaked the photos and had an interview with foxnews. foxnews is notoriously pro-trump. it's a propaganda machine.

why suddenly out one of your clients? the woman was making money. she was still ignoring the mandates. pelosi wasn't doing her any harm. again, its entrapment.

she took her mask off for a shampoo.

its a misdemeanor. write her a ticket.

then turn around and lock the shop owner down permanently. fine her everyday that she doesn't stay closed

justice served?

So Pelosi thinks she's getting away with something.
And she's upset because she believes that someone
purposely caught her. She then exposes that someone
to the violent vitriol of the left.
Getting away with the prohibited primping is one thing,
but her response took a de minimis faux pas, & turned
it into raging hypocrisy & threats.

Sometimes the best thing to do is offer a boring apology.
Then one's foes lose interest.

It's a punishable offense for an ordinary citizen. But if she were punished for such a thing, then you'd have to apply the law to other politicians. Pretty soon, we'd have very few politicians.

Could you give us a real example, please..
Jeff Sessions. John Bolton. General Mattis. Rex Tillerson. The Khan family. Marie Yovanovitch. Lt. Col Vindman. Dr. Birx. Greta Thunberg. Megyn Kelly. Carly Fiorina. Congresswomen of color. Steve Bannon. Michael Cohen.

To name a few.

Entrapment....
It's when one gets caught knowingly doing something
wrong, but blaming the person who tempted one.
This makes it OK?
Not quite.
Entrapment - Wikipedia
Entrapment is a practice whereby a law enforcement agent or agent of the state induces a person to commit a "crime" that the person would have otherwise been unlikely or unwilling to commit.[1] It "is the conception and planning of an offense by an officer or agent, and the procurement of its commission by one who would not have perpetrated it except for the trickery, persuasion or fraud of the officer or state agent."[2]

Not even close...but thanks for playing.

I disagree with the "otherwise unlikely" part in government.
Politicians should fear that every bribe offered, every stapler
stolen, & every intern inseminated, is a set-up to prosecute them.
A big part of the definition is it is done by law enforcement. If they didn't act in ways to cause, regardless of what happened it is not entrapment. It's something else I don't know what.
