I'm not saying the U.S. did it, Jewscout, I'm saying that it might not have been a plane. I mean, really, where was the debris of the plane? The shell of the plane? The scar that would have been marked into the ground if, as snopes says, it hit the ground first? There are far too many unanswered questions for it to have been a plane, in my humble opinion. ;)

Then what did crash into the Pentagon?

Some more fun reading on the topic.

People just love conspiracy theories. I think our society could use a healthy dose of skepticism.

Of course we didn't see much debris of the plane...we didn't see much debris of the planes that hit the WTC either....at those speeds and with all that fuel, a plane would virtually vaporize. Silliness.

Hey, it's fun to speculate! Do you really think that plances can just "vaporize"? I doubt it. I've never seen a plane crash where the hull of the plane was utterly vaporized. How do you explain the marked lack of a scar or ridge in the ground?

(Don't get me wrong, I don't neccesarily believe this video, I just love to play devil's advocate. As Aristotle, I believe, once said "The mark of true genius is being able to hold a thought without neccesarily believing it.")

I may be wrong, but I think Aristotle said that about an educated man, not a "true genius".

True, true. But I'm increasingly finding that reality is much more interesting than anything we can imagine or speculate upon. In fact, when I get the time, I plan to start a thread about that and some other things.

I have. I'm pretty sure the hull of the planes that hit the WTC were utterly vaporized...else mine eyes did deceive me. Same for the one that crashed in the open field...just itty, bitty, tiny bits left (rest their souls).

And humble is as humble said it, too! ;)

Actually, you are right Sunstone. Must of got muddled in there; been reading a lot of philosophy lately. And I don't think he means it in a derogatory way to those who don't do it, I think he means that anyone can do it, and when they do, they gain access to true learning.
