I've seen many whale fin necklaces in Iceland, often next to a Mjolnir. So maybe that's the origin of the confusion
TBH it's hard finding Mjolnirs in Iceland, you'd have much better luck getting a Lutheran cross, which are sold everywhere.

I did not make the whale fin up. My Mjolnir even has a triquetra on it, yet for some reason it apparently looks like a whale fin, which my coworker pointed out.
