Perfect and imperfect

Can something be perfectly imperfect?

Hope I'm not to late to add this.

To me "X" is perfect if there is absolutely nothing else that can better do the job that "X" was created to do. Like no other toaster will make better toast than a perfect toaster will.

Some people say that people are imperfect and that God created us and this imperfection is part of God's plan. If this is so, then I say we are fulfilling our role in this plan and thus our imperfection is perfect....

makes sense?

I guess I just have a problem with the idea that something is complete beyond change, as change is the name of the game as I see it and I don't believe that we will ever break free from the clutches of change. Frankly, I don't know why people would want to unless of course they like to be bored witless.

Perfection doesn't necessarily equate with changlessness. Could change not be perfect also?

The Japanese concept of "wabi-sabi" is very similar to the idea of the perfection (beauty) of the imperfect. I think because eastern philosophy includes the balance of opposites (yin/yang) as an integral part of the whole (tao) it tends to be more immediately able to embrace the paradoxical nature of truth.

Or the truth of our paradoxical nature.
