If I ask; do you need "Permanent-peace".
Do you need this ?

If I say; that the another name for "God" is "Permanent-peace"
Do you still need this ?

Kindly note: Permanent-peace = Everlasting-peace = Peace-forever.

Yes. But surely you realize that your saying so does not make it so.

Peace is preferable to war, although as it is often said, there can be no peace without justice. Worldwide social and economic justice must be attained first, before anyone can even start thinking about world peace.

Worldwide social and economic justice is kind a desire which CAN/WAS never fulfilled.

I don't ask the question.

Nothing is permanent in the currents of the now that I reside in. Peace, or otherwise. I cannot need (be required to have to survive or be alive) that which cannot be or I would not be.

Peace is a good target, god isn't. You'll never sell permanent peace on people if god is the price

I'm not one of those longing for, in Hindu terms, shanti, moksha, liberation. I'm enjoying the journey.

I pretty much agree with you on that one.

But you know who has the most interesting take on war and peace I've ever encountered? Friedrich Nietzsche.

Nietzsche said something like: "War should be the ultimate goal. Not peace. Peace should be used as a means to new wars. It has no other value."

I disagree with him. I rather like peace and rather hate wars.

But I think he has an interesting take. I think he implies that peace makes us docile and weak, while war forces us to put the strongest and most courageous among us out there to attain glory .
