Peter Jennings Program Jesus and Paul

Did anyone see this program last night? I found it very interesting and well done. At one point they were discussing Jesus being attracted to the diseased and crippled, the forgotten people. They then discussed that the Messiah is always expected to be a man. This triggered my thoughts and I started thinking, what if it was a woman? I then started thinking about Princess Diana. She was very attracted to the diseased and crippled, devoted much of her life to them and touched and held them just as Jesus did. She almost became Queen. Like him she attracted crowds and died in her 30's. She gave speeches on the subject and taught by example. Mother Theresa comes to mind, but Diana for some reason seems more of a parallel. What do you think?

I did see this program last night and I hope ABC re-airs it so I can tape it! I didn't realize how much I had forgotten about Paul and how much of an impact he had on the founding of Christianity. And I always love the historical aspects of any story, so that was a special treat.

I do see the parallels who mention, but I'm not prepared to comment ant further on your question other than that. Interesting thought though...
