As a Marxist, it seems to me that few people nowadays question the system that they live within. I am not saying you have to disagree with it, but almost everybody I come across takes the socio-economic structure as a given. What do you think the proper role is for a Christian to question the principalities and powers?

Our allegiance is to God, first and foremost.
Psalm 146:3-4
Put not your trust in princes and sons of men, in whom there is no salvation. When his breath departs, he returns to his earth; on that very day his plans perish.

Always remain skeptical and vigilant of your government and socio-economic structure, and know that they're not oriented towards Christian principles. Be in the world, and not of it. But also render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's.
