Philosophical Statements

Because it's all been done before, any "original" philosophical view will be pretty ho-hum trite. Not that it can't be new to someone somewhere, but it certainly won't be original in of itself.

What if "dreams" are the real reality, and "reality" is actually our dreams?

Believe it or not, I'm reading a book right now that alludes to this idea. That we are 'always' dreaming, whether we are physically asleep or not. Not always my cup of tea to read a book such as this, but it's an interesting philosophy.

Don't wipe with anything that has three leaves.

Yeah. Hurts like hell!

Wonderer.
In Plato's Meno and elsewhere, Socrates proposes the idea that truth is not taught, it is remembered. Hence his use of the Socratic Method to get people to recollect the truth.

I don't recall anyone else since the Father of Philosophy teaching this. I suppose he was failing to recall the truth of the matter? Or maybe we've all forgotten the truth?

Just went on a Homepage of the Hermann Jülich Workships. Hermann Jülich is the Name of a man worked for Weleda. The houses are looking a little bit like the rooms in the Musik Video Stars from Roxette. They use Anthroposophie daily but they life together in community. " I think therefore I am!"
