Its probably a site feedback question for admin. I've no idea how it all works, except there's javascript all over the place and cookies and mice. For whatever reason, javascript combines mice with cookies.

Chrome ok.... Microsoft edge...all bets are off..... I disabled it on out Win10 PCs...I hate that browser... I am not a big fan of IE 11 but it is on Windows 10...just hidden... and the scary part is that it is better than Windows Edge.

Is it blocking you completely or are you able to click ok and continue?

Chrome
Click on the 3 (Vertical) dots in the top right corner
google%2Bchrome%2Bin%2Bandroid%2Bdevice.png

Scroll to help
Click about Google Chrome to see if it is up to date.
If not, update it, if it is up to date there is always reset

Click the 3 dots
Click settings
Scroll to the bottom of settings
Click "Show advanced settings..."
Scroll to the bottom of advanced settings
Click "Reset settings..."

I thank you.....but the actual target is immediately to the left of the dots
inside the search bar and beside the magnifier and the 'favorites' star

typically a shied with a very small red colored number
likely the number of intrusions stopped
or a gear profile noting script attempts on the page I am viewing

this web site
no other

I think my shield is working

btw....I fired HitmanPro

Then you are either dealing with Microsoft Defender blocking plugins or something else you installed that deals with plugins

A plugin is a program or apps designed by one company/group that works inside a program written by another company/person. Not all plugins are well written code and could be part of the problem.

By the way this inspired me to start a thread about plugins. Here's the first post:
Plugins are javascript(s) that run inside Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Opera and most internet browsers. They might also be called extensions or add-ons. Its possible that there is more to them than javascript, but generally they are javascript. All modern browsers can read javascript(s).

What is Google chrome?
What is javascript?

There is a difference between regular computer programs and plugins, apps, extensions that run in a browser.

Javascript is typically instructions that your browser program reads -- as if it were a smaller less powerful computer within your computer. Its a Turing complete instruction set that can do a lot of small jobs. The technical term for this is Virtualization - a computer within a computer. It is analogous to having an extra engine on a tractor that runs different tools. The CPU and hardware are the tractor. Virtualization in your web browser is the little extra spinning rotor that runs digging tools, pumps and whatever you hook to it such as plugins.

Why? Virtualization does several things. 1. It is easier to write a javascript program for a browser than to completely re-write the browser from scratch. 2. javascript does not have as much security clearance, so it is a little safer to run an unknown plugin than it is to run an unknown full program. 3. Javascript is more portable, so you can write a program once and get it to run on lots of computers, instead of writing your app or plugin multiple times. For these reasons, all browsers provide a Javascript Virtual Machine.

What site are you trying to visit?

Also, unless you've installed any other plugins, I'd guess the blocked plugin is probably Adobe Flash Player, a program which handles certain types of video in browsers.

this website.....

ah...and you could be right
I get a popup now and then for upgrades on adobe
i never seem to care
and it's likely another persistent intrusion

unless there's a need for it
and I seem to be doing ok......

it's just the little warnings that seem like ants at a picnic
