Would you believe they are a Christian band ???

"Sleeping Awake" is about him daydreaming about the prophecies in Revelations and of "Zion/New Jerusalem" which will descend out of heaven with the saints when Christ sets up his kingdom on the earth....

Oh, yes, I gathered............I think that is particularly liked the one I mentioned ; rather apt at this time of year).

Well we are not there yet, we still have a ways to go, as far as prophecy is concerned...

We are in a period of great peace and prosperity and the devil knows it and is making idle threats through as many evil men on earth as he can...

He's just barking up the wrong tree...

We won't listen to his idle threats....

they arent really a Christian band per say. according to them. but they are heavily influenced and you can hear Christian themes in the music.


not to be a technocrat...i just used to love POD and did alot of research on em.

POD is alot like the greatest band inthe world, ZAO, Christians, in a band, talking about experiences and beliefs without trying to convert people.

Well from what I understand their name is an acronym, P.O.D. "Payable On Death" Our sins are "payable on death" without a savior...

Cleverly disguised Christian themes can be found in most of their songs..

This one comes to mind...

Just listened to their newest song, "Going In Blind" and it definitely has a Christian theme to it...

Listen to these two songs closely they are about and refer to a Savior..

They did a good job on this one...
