I just read an article by Bill Buckley, and was curious if there are any Catholics out there who feel he is on target, or off target, and why?
I have been curious how the Catholic Church is dealing with some of Kerry's stands being so opposite their own, and yet still claiming to be a Catholic.
Here is the article...

So, do you think that there is a political split in the Catholic church? And if so, how will that affect an organization that has been so active in politics throuout its history? (At one time in some countries, the Catholic Church basically was the government).
Can the Catholic Church learn to separate spiritual and secular beliefs in their own politicians?
