Is it true that in the USA there are Christmas shops that are open all year?
Probably. Not in my corner of the country though(Midwest is sparsely populated for the most part).
My memory of dates is hazy but I think Costco had the Christmas merchandise out earlier.
I think I once saw a crappy low budget made for TV movie that had such a shop as the setting for a romance story
None that I’ve seen. But I lived in West Virginia for a few years and can attest that many leave their Christmas lights up all year long.
Happens here, too... though it seems laziness is mostly to blame.
We have a neighbor who does that.

Sadly not, it would have been a long time ago and I wouldn't have been giving it my full attention plus it would have probably been quite forgettable too
I hope you didn't write and direct it, because I just called it crappy and forgettable....
I wouldn’t be too concerned about it. Most of the posts I write here are crappy and forgettable.
