No screaming, no yelling, only a polite requests to leave. And no "liberals only" signs either. They only objected to a rather heartless president and his workers.

You may be conflating Sanders with the idiot that went to a Mexican Restaurant and was surprised when they objected to her presence there.

Since the right supported discrimination based on religious belief, this is a logical extension to the political realm. Personally I'm not in favor of that kind of discrimination no matter what the motivation - religious or political.

According to the article, Sanders was asked to leave based on the owner’s objection to inhumanity, unethical behaviour, and cruelty. Do you think that these traits are intrinsic to conservatism?

If they aren’t intrinsic to conservatism, then it wasn’t Sanders’s conservatism that was at issue.

As a business, it's ill advised to make political statements regardless of your leanings, because you're always going to alienate some customers, potentially subjected to boycotts, smeared with fake negative reviews, etc.

There is nothing to gain and a lot to lose from using your business as a soapbox.

I totally understand. I'm just saying it never ends well. Whenever a business makes a political statement, it's always met with a media circus and public backlash.
