Let’s send some positive vibes this way!

Perhaps tell us about something positive that has happened to you recently! Maybe you got your daily steps in today! Let us know so we can hype each other up and encourage each other! I for one will do my best to reflect the positivity you present back to you.

I got lots of cleaning done today. Bout to put the phone down and do some Tai Chi. I have slacked on Tai Chi the last two days but as you are reading this I am doing it/have done it! Regardless of the missed days, the last couple weeks I’ve been getting in the routine of being healthy. I have replaced my breakfast soda with a breakfast smoothie, and have started taking vitamins.

I am on my way to feeling SUPERB! I’m hyped.

What about you? Let’s reflect on some positive aspects of our day to day!

Remember, positive vibes

I have new socks!
I need a little dresser to put all my socks. I got a nice shelved closet buuut I’m gonna convert that to a shrine closet.

But yea I recently did all my laundry and was like “woah that’s a lot of socks.” I got so many clothes cuz like you stop growing and I haven’t changed weight and I get new clothes like socks every year for birthday or whatever.

New/Lots of clothes is a blessing indeed!

That's really cool!

All my socks disappear...

Indeed! I tend to lose socks, but I have sooooooooo many clothes. All nice ones, too. I refuse to wear anything I don't love. My taste is pretty diverse, too.
What are your favorite socks? Mine are the ones that have the grippy paw prints on them. They give those out in hospitals so you don’t slip.
I like these really soft ones I get at the Dollar Tree when it gets cold.

I like the grippy ones from the hospital, too, but I don't go to the hospital enough to get many!

20 pushups so far this morning and I anticipate another 180 or so. No smoothies, vitamins, or tai chi but I have considered tai chi at the gym. I'm not sure if it's still being offered. It has been close to two years since I last walked through the front doors. I'm going back and soon. Lets see, positive vibes ...

Workout music?

In just the last two months I was forced to move from where I was very happily and affordable living. A place where I had a garage, a workshop, a front and back yard where I could park a small boat an work on remodeling it ... and I am semi-retired so not a big income in a time when housing costs have gone insanely expensive.

A very worrisome predicament for me.

But two months later, I have a new home for the workshop, a new place to store the boat, a new apartment that I can afford, and even a new (used) vehicle. No garage anymore, and everything is scattered around, now, but still, I am feeling very, very fortunate. Because we are not living in forgiving times. Especially for older folks like me.

Local organic grocery store has buckets of nuts! Got myself a couple pounds of nuts for healthy snacks throughout the day.

Happy body = happy mind (generally)
