Share something positive that's going on around you.

It could be something in your personal life, or something you read/heard about in the greater world.

Anything will do, so long as its uplifting.

It's Saturday, and I don't have to go to work. I like Saturdays.

The weather is also finally starting to cool off. No more summer heat.

Brother in law has finally accepted he needs to take his medication and he has also accepted the psychiatric help and social support that he needs. This last few days has been like talking to the old Adam again.

This afternoon i did 25km on the exercise bike in under an hour. I feel good about that. At this rate I'll be able to go cycling again next summer

It's cold and very wet outside, we have a warming fire in the wood burner. Hubby and i are sitting, toasty warm listening to an old Tina Turner cd.

One of my elementary level classes has been asking me to bring them some Singha. It’s a Thai brand of yuzu soda that I drink, and it’s sugar free. On Friday, I brought a big can of it and some paper vessels. After I checked everyone’s homework, they lined up to the podium and I poured each of them a drink. Later, while they were taking turns doing some speeches, I handed out Hershey’s Cookies ‘n’ Creme Kisses. Everyone was happy. I love to see my students happy.

I was double charged for a bus fare (debit card) but where the amounts were £2.00 and £1.90, with this happening on two occasions. I couldn't get through to the bus company on the first occasion but have now, and apparently they will be refunding me. Not sure if it was just a processing error by the driver or someone (said driver) trying to 'earn' a little more.

PS I know the amount is hardly worth bothering about but others might be affected too.

My daughter and granddaughter came over today, and we went hiking at state park near me. Afterward, we returned to my place, and as they were leaving my 2 year old granddaughter turned and waved to me and said "Bye grandpa!" with such a look of sincerity on her face. First time she's clearly called me grandpa. It brings a tear to my eye just typing this.
