Captain Obvious
Now, I saw Robtex's idea for a thread for post 1000 this morning, and while I'm blatantly copying it, I couldn't blatantly copy it .
So, I have a special purpose here. On one of my mailing lists, a fellow posted this. I wish I could take credit for it, but I can't. It's a prophecy we should all head

O ye in the outer darkness, of the jurisdiction of the bean, true reverence is only possible in the noble jurisdiction of the leaf. My beverage vice of choice is Chinese style tea,ie. without added sweeteners and milk or lemon; of the dioceses of the green and oolong and black. In a moment of great weakness I once bought a top of the line oolong for around $35 an ounce, I can not bring myself to confess how many ounces, while shopping at a Chinese tea store that sells only tea and the gear to make it. It was absolutely great and is the benchmark to me for oolong type tea. I confess to drinking several cups, please no mugs or the modernists heretical bags, of tea a day; did I mention the several known health benefits in doing so. We of the leaf do not just drink, nay, there is great ceremony and ritual init's preparation and consumption wherein true reverence can be shown.
