Thanks, UV. But that is quite the manipulated picture. And I wouldn't use myself in these pics at all, if I had models to practice on. It's the color that I get excited about.

Color and lighting makes a difference. That's why I quite enjoy cosmetology. You can play pretend! Yay!

Got a new haircut yesterday. First time I've ever had short hair that I can actually remember (I know there's pics of me really little with short hair, but not like I can remember that). It's very new for me.

I think it frames your face very well. And I like the color. Going from red to brown, I've had a hard time finding the right shade. Your color's nice.

OK here's the story behind the child on the toilet eating her meal on a plate.

That is my oldest - and for years I blackmailed her with this photo! We were staying with my grandmother for three months while we waited for military housing. It was wintertime and my grandmother had gas space heaters, not central heat. So she would heat up the bathroom and my daughter would go in there and get ready for school. My grandmother would make her breakfast and bring it in there because the house was so cold - and I guess this particular morning dooty called and she decided to poop and eat at the same time!

Hence the picture - I walked in on this and couldn't believe it. Check out the expression on her face - I was totally making fun of her and she was TICKED OFF!
