Practical jokes that have bad consequences

My mum used to tell a story that was supposed to be true; just after the 2nd world war, a chap in London sent the same telegram to his ten best friend for a joke that read:-
"Flee, all has been discovered"
The next day nine of them had left the country!!:woohoo::woohoo:
