O god! With my heart
I pray to you everyday without fail
The austerity of ahimsa that I am bonded to
That will be my abhisheka to you
The service I render to fellow humans
Is the cloth I wrap you with
The humility that I carry on, without swaying
That will be my jewels to you
The mercy that I feel to those who are unfortunate
That will be my sandalpaste to you
The truth that I convey even to those who will speak ill of me
That will be my garland to you
The company of meritorious that I seek among men
That will be my offering of food to you
The affection that I bestow on those animals that cant speak
That will be my aarathi to you
This is the puja that I do you each day
Kindly accept my puja without fail
And bless me that I do not think of anything other than you!
