Prayers for the dead?

Jordan St. Francis

Well-Known Member
"For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor depth, nor height, nor anything in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord"
Romans 8:38

For those who die in the peace of Christ, not even death can separate them from Him. Those who die in Christ remain in Him. This means they remain in His sacred Body, the very same Body which we believers on earth have become members of.

Through Christ, we are still connected to those that have died. The unity of His Body can not be broken. Through Christ, we can continue to edify them with our prayers.

Is not going to save you.
Well their dead you can't really help them, their ether going to Heaven or Hell. Instead of praying for the dead, why don't you pray for your fellow friends who arn't saved, because you can help them.
