In Jewish thought, 1/60th of a dream is prophetic. Therefore i wouldn't say anything because i have no way of knowing which elements of the dream are legitimately prophetic.

Thanks, Yes that is a good point.
I think as science understand more about the process our views on the world also will be shifted .
I was really interested in them since I had few significant ones , Lucid dream are the best! lol
Maybe some are there to warn us individually I would say, I understand when we physically have some illness our mind(our subconscious is able to translate that into event during dream time)
I guess based on your Idea only we are able to warn others ;if we told so in dreams...

I generally don't believe in prophetic dreams however, the subconscious mind picks up on information which escapes your conscious awareness. So it is possible that your mind has a good reason to predict an upcoming event that you are not consciously aware of.

I'd probably try to look into it further to see if I could find any information to support the prediction and point out that information instead of hoping people would accept my prophetic dream.
