Premonitions?

I have one - apparently revealed in a dream last night - where a garden fence is blown down at some time in the future. This has happened in the past so the odds are good for another occurrence. The scenario - I have five properties with fences adjoining mine and I'm still not sure who is responsible for them. I have replaced three sets in the past. One neighbour replaced a set of these fairly recently - concrete posts with wood panels slid into place - by having the fence panels several inches over the height of the posts - when it is normal to have the panels several inches below the posts. Given that there is not a lot to stop the wind blowing directly at the fences, I suspect that the fence panels being of larger area will mean they are more vulnerable to wind damage. Not sure why they chose such large panels - possibly so they didn't have to acknowledge the mess in my garden - out of sight, out of mind.

Is this a true premonition - or much like some others - a little knowledge prompting such things?

Sure, the subconscious mind can offer a premonition based on past events.

I have a premonition that it will rain on my car sometime in December. I'm almost certain that this has occurred in previous Decembers, usually in the period between the end of November and the beginning of the following year.

And to make things clear, my 'dream' was probably coming more from my knowledge as to effects and causes rather than from some other place. I'll let you all know if any future reality matches the 'vision' or just matches the probability of such an event occurring - given the circumstances.

I never believed in premonitions until I went through a lengthy set of unbelievable "premonitions" several years ago that lasted for 2 & 1/2 years, thus not becoming clear until the end what the implications were. I'm still shocked, especially since I have a long-term science background.
