I've never heard of anybody claiming to be Kalki. Weird. I should hope that nobody is pretending to be Kalki!

You will find some of them if you ask a search engine to find Kalki. There are also quite a few Maitreyas (the future Buddha) and Mahdis (future enlightened or guided one) and Messiahs (future baptised or annointed one). In fact there always have been. But not like the Santa Claus in every shopping centre. These ones either are or wish to be inhabited by their namesake. Spiritual wannabe perhaps. In Ancient Egypt the name or ren was as important as the soul (ba) and lookalike spirit (ka) so maybe it works. The identifying factor of all of the above is that their real names are hidden, the meaning of Amen the composite god. He comes here but is hidden, most observe on a white horse that is a white man, and seemingly always described as a man. So I doubt if he calls himself Kalki and if you asked him he would probably deny it. Kalki is more of a description like the others meaning mud ie human just as the Goddess Sita meaning furrow of earth (his wife when he came as Rama). Adam also means red earth and Binadham means the expected 'Son of Man' , not his name, which is found in bits everywhere but it is said that Babel or languages were created because they started to call on him by it. Now no-one really knows it but it was spoken at Creation apparently. Kalkis might as well call themselves Human, but not Earth as she is female.

in the hindou history in the past or nowadays

I remember a Kalki in Chennai, India who became popular during the looming threat of the end of the world in the year 2000. I don't think he is popular anymore. If I recall correctly, he was in prison sometime later. Bing for it.

Yeah. The one I mentioned was very successful and still has devotees, though he is not as popular as he used to be.
