Actually, the majority of "illegals" are brought in via normal legal channels, and during the multi-month-long review of their cases to be considered as having refugee status, they are given temporary visas. A percentage of these people, like being on parole, simply don't show up when their case gets through (whether willingly, or because they are being exploited for manual labor purposes and moved without leaving a forwarding address so they never received the summons). This failure to show, turns them from asylum/refugee seekers into "illegals".
Their numbers exceed people being smuggled through any wall or fence.
Speeding up the review of their cases, and providing them with housing and employment closer to the border would serve our nation very well.
And by the way, this also means that many of the asylum seekers/"illegals" are already being shipped to cities throughout the US, both north and south, to find housing and jobs until their cases are completed. Thus, all of that moronic political posturing by southern border governors bussing and flying small groups of immigrants to northern/Democrat cities and locales;
..... is not only so much bull****, but also completely illegal, and the governors' worthless asses should have been impeached and jailed after the first busload arrived without notification. Period.

The same folks who are panicking over the "invasion" on the southern border usually ignore what the Russians are up to. Probably because one of them admires one of Russians top leaders. The southern border "invasion" looks suspiciously like a distraction, maybe?

Hmmm, it was Donald Trump ot PROMISED during his 2016 campaign that Mexico would pay for a wall along America’s border with Mexico, to stop the invasion, and did Trump live up to his promise, which was a big piece of what. got him elected? Nope. I offered a way to stop the invasion, and you didn’t even thought it your reply, but you went off on a ran about 9/11, which was caused by the two George Bush presidents, who were Republiklans. The people coming in from Mexico are desperate to leave where they were. Yes, there might be hidden among them occasional Islamic agents, or Russian agents, or Red China agents, but they are coming in with the clothes on their back, and they are not getting into large airplanes and flying them into buildings anytime soon. If you trust what Donald Turmp says, then about 95 percent of the time you are one of the suckers born every minute. I feel about the same about Joe Biden and Kamala Harris,as should anyone whose brain ain’t dead yet.

It has to do with accessibility. If people with visas can do this sort of damage, imagine just letting in any old non vetted untraceable Tom Dick and Harry from a foreign country can do?

People here on a visa are free to do most things, even take flying lessons.
