People are so stupid. It's legal for divorced people to remarry, but I know a few Christian clergy (not many, admittedly) who won't officiate at their weddings, and the law couldn't care less.

It's legal for an Orthodox Christian to marry a Baptist, but you'll grow old and die waiting for my old priest to officiate at that wedding, too.

The right to legal marriage does not confer a right to any religious ceremony. Religions still get to set their own standards, and anybody who gave it even a moment's thought ought to know that.

I told them it was NOTHING to do with "messing" with our (anyones " right to practice our religion..

They arent goint to REWRITE the constitution and FORCE a Rabi that he HAS to marry a gay couple..Its RETARTED!!!(I dindt say that because its not correct to politacally say that)..

They think its "all about them " and being "forced" ..Its ridiculous..

This country last I checked..was founded on SEPERATION ..of church and state..

I told "them" that its about the LEGAL right to be married and recieve those benefits PERIOD ..it has NOTHING to do with religion let alone Christianity..(unless the two so choose)..

The Gestepo insn't going to come "running in and "force" at gunpoint "pastors" to marry gays..

Adn BESIDES that why in the HELL would a person (anyone) want to get married (religious ceremony)under those circumstances..????

I know what..I think this is GREAT ..since we will be "forced" to "marry gays" inside of religion becuase they legally can..???

I'm going to "force" the Jews to babtise my grandbaby(in the name of Jesus) ..After that Im going to skip over to the mosque..(you know Islam..the muslims) and SUE them and have them thrown in jail for having seperate worshipping quarters for men and women..(thats sex discrimination)
