The APA has no authority in the lives of lay people. Its advice is to its licensed health care professionals, whose diagnoses can have implications that yours and mine don't.
It's analogous to the "innocent until proven guilty" mandate, which only applies to jurors and others involved in the process of adjudicating guilt. You and I are free to come to judgments whenever we like before and during a trial and modify them as we go if appropriate.
Trump is clearly a malignant narcissist and sociopath. He's also a pathological liar and demented - all psychological diagnoses, and all correct. If we know what those words mean and are familiar with Trump, we are free to conclude whatever you like, because it doesn't matter to anybody if you're wrong.
Not all women are interested in their own reproductive freedom, but Harris will motivate women to vote for Democrats and against Republicans - not that they should need a cheerleader. If they read the news, they know what the theat is and the solution.

Nobody had the power to displace Biden but Biden. He didn't need to step down. He chose to, which will be understood in the future in the way that Washington stepping down voluntarily after two terms was regarded as exemplary behavior - country over self. Apart from Cheney and Kinzinger, who were also heroic patriots to everybody but MAGA, when was the last time you saw that kind of selfless service to country from a politician?
MAGA accusing her of being soft on crime? That should be fun. Watch as she promotes herself as the former prosecutor who convicts sexual predators and fraudsters. Whenever Trump or his surrogates accuse her of being soft on crime, she can identify him as a criminal like those she prosecuted and who she hopes to see prosecuted again very soon. Expect to hear that or its equivalent many more times in the next few months.

True, but the same still applies. Armchair shrinking and diagnosing people does a net harm to society by contributing to stigmatizations and demonitizing mental illness.
A better comparison is how lots of people want to blame mental illness every time there's a shooting and place the emphasis on that. It does a lot of harm and destruction by so intimately welding the two together.
All these people wanting to armchair diagnose Trump (and anyone else) are ultimately playing into stereotypes and replying on a slice of their overall pictures of behaviors and characteristics, typically what is shown to them through various media outlets.
I really think that's a despicable thing to say, and for some strange reason, I never hear it said about men. I wonder why that is?
In any case, I think you need to provide some evidence for such a claim. I mean, for example, part of her career at the top was in elected offices -- Senator and Attorney General for California -- so I guess the first thing you might provide is the list of all the voters (I presume they must be male and female since both are allowed to vote there) that she slept with to obtain their votes.
How many times do you need to be told? Promiscuous people come in two guises: females, who are called sluts (pejorative) and villified, and males, who are called playboys (approbative) and honored as conquering heros (unless they're gay bottoms, in which case sluts or tramps (pejorative) apply again).

Meanwhile, back to the topic of the Harris campaign, which has just received the enthusiastic endorsement Barack and Michelle Obama. Polls are showing some movement now in Harris's direction, and she is likely to pick a VP running mate who will enhance her electoral chances in a swing state. By way of contrast, JD Vance appears to have flubbed badly even in his home state of Ohio. Even Republicans having a tough time with him:

I saw that this morning that the Obama's endorsed her.
Trump is now going to have a battle and picking Vance didn't help him at all.
Trump beating her likely won't happen IMO.

Trump is the schoolyard bully, Harris is the tomboy who stood up to him and punched him in the face for beating up good boy Biden. She may be from the wrong side of the tracks in Oakland her reputation there was excessively hard ***, but that girl who didn't pull her punches against bullies grew up into a woman who doesn't suffer fools.
There is no conspiracy here, just another schoolyard brawl and I wouldn't bet on the bully.

I knew Obama was going to endorse her, but I thought he was going to wait until the convention, or at least closer to the convention.
I think this means they are certain that no one is going to challenge her at the convention.
Not sure if that is good or bad.
