It's no secret she's a race chameleon. One day she's conveniently black, next day she's conveniently Asian, day after that she's conveniently Native American.

I think her US census form had a multiple choice option. Very convenient and advantageous to switch races like that on the fly. eh?
Yawn. Another nothingburger.

First and foremost she needs to never, ever, come anywhere near acting like MTG, and Boebert acted today in their questioning of SS Director, K. Cheatle. It was disgraceful and a perfect example as to why so many still doubt the abilities of women in leadership roles. Cheadle calmly maintained dignity, however.
Marjorie Taylor is a raving lunatic. I think most people see that. Why would Harris start going on about some of the stupidest things ever voiced in US Politics?

I don't know if this has been posted here yet, but here are Harris quotes from over the years, with a discussion of how these would translate into voting on various issues.

Putting Harris here on the charts.

Frankly, I think its high time that the Dems actually forwarded someone who promotes a few Progressive ideas, rather than the "Republican-lite" that has been their norm since the Clinton era.

And just for contrast, here is the same "On The Issues" review of tRump's rhetoric.
Donald Trump on the Issues
Which drops the tRump here.

What went on with Cheatle today?
I couldn't stand to watch much of it, but I gathered it was a Congressional hearing interview on the Assassination Attempt. MTG kept demanding Cheatle's letter of resignation and stating she was unfit for the job, and a disgrace, etc., etc. Extremely unprofessional behavior and a disgrace in it's own right, IMO.

There was a third questioner, but I had stepped away from the TV. I came back when Boebert had the mic and she was echoing Green enough I switched channels. There was no way any relevant information was going to surface by that circus.

I don't believe in rumors especially by far right activists such as her. It's just the liars on the right doing what they love doing - lying.

So far, Kamala Harris has been experiencing a groundswell of popular support and party support.

Harris picks up enough delegate support to win nomination on first full day of her campaign

I have to say that this is the outcome I wanted--that Biden would step aside and endorse Kamala Harris. But what has happened has far exceeded my expectations. The groundswell of support for her has been overwhelming. Not only is the Democratic Party uniting behind her candidacy, but the transition has been extremely smooth, much of it owing to the way that Joe Biden orchestrated it. She has not only inherited his substantial campaign chest and well-organized campaign organization, but she has gained more campaign contributions in her first day than any campaign in history, much of it not from billionaires, but small donors.

There also seems to be an explosion of enthusiasm among GenZ young people regarding this 'brat' video that went viral on TikTok. Harris is embracing the movement:

Wow. That last one is really something: What is Kamala Harris' 'brat' rebrand all about? "you think you just fell out of a coconut tree" - pass it on. Dark Brandon has passed the torch to Brat Harris. I'm lovin' it.

Brat is the name of Charli's sixth studio album and her tweet about Vice-President Harris received almost nine million views in just four hours.
....
Charli told the BBC's Sidetracked podcast that brat is a concept that represents a person who might have "a pack of cigs, a Bic lighter and a strappy white top with no bra".

It has been deemed by some pop critics as a rejection of the "clean girl" aesthetic popularised on TikTok, which spurned a groomed ideal of femininity, and instead embraces more hedonistic and rebellious attitudes.

“You’re just like that girl who is a little messy and likes to party and maybe says some dumb things some times,” Charli explained on social media.

“Who feels like herself but maybe also has a breakdown. But kind of like parties through it, is very honest, very blunt. A little bit volatile. Like, does dumb things. But it’s brat. You’re brat. That’s brat.”

Harris is on fire. Kamala Harris Walks Out to Beyoncé's 'Freedom' for First Speech Since Biden Dropped Out

Harris explained that this year’s election was split between “two different visions,”

Exactly. Trump represents the past with fear and hatred prime motivators and lust, greed, anger, lies and the rest "riding tall in the saddle". Harris represents another step in the positive waves of change inundating the Earth. She is, of course, no saint, but she's carrying that spirit which is part of our "DNA".

The qualifications for Pres are also the same for VP.
She already passed any hurdles on birth by being VP.
Its a dead end if they try.

I think they know it's a dead end. It's just propaganda, a way of spreading disinformation in order to dog whistle what side they really are on.

Like, did anyone ever really believe Trump's Obama birtherism claims? It was his way of appealing to the racism he knew would help solidify his base.

No. Just typical of a left-wing opportunist. Never sincere , never committed save for oneself.
This from you, you only want anything if it benefits you, she works for the good of others so no, she is not the one who qualifies as selfish.
As for your other demonstration of ignorance. Her mother is from India, hence Indian, It has taken a while for us to open our eyes to Columbus' mistake and recognize the rest of the world.

Unfortunate people do believe that stuff, the latest is Biden is dead because he underlined his signature. (I saw it right here on this board)

A Trump supporter concerned about lying is rich irony indeed.

Just so we can all be clear as to what rises in your judgement as a disqualifying lie -- since nothing from Trump seems to meet that threshold - could you provide a link to the Kamala Harris lie that left you so incensed.
Bringing up Trump's lies has no bearing on if Harris lied.

She has been saying for years and even as late as July 5th that Biden is fit for office. That he gets more done in an hour than most get done in a day. Conservatives have been pointing the obvious out for a while now. The debate was a surprise to democrats but not to republicans because your leaders and media lied to you about his condition. It is a big cover-up.

IMO anyone who thought Biden was fit for office or think Trump is fit for office are in denial.

Bring up Biden's gaffes and they would bring up Trump's gaffes.

Bring up Trump's gaffes and they would bring up Biden's gaffes.

It was a gaffe war lol

Bidens gaffes no longer matter being the is out of the race. I now wonder how will Trump's gaffes be defended since Bidens can't be used as a defense.

The border mess has been with the nation for at least a month or two longer than the Biden/Harris administration, and always a problem. If I recall, Trump only built a few miles of his "big, beautiful wall," and Mexico didn't pay for an inch of it.
So what has Harris done to fix it?
I do not disagree on abortion. You may think yourself in the right to dictate other women's use of their bodies and healthcare, I do not. That's a liberty I would not take away, as the party of "libery" so often likes to do when people don't behave as they'd prefer.
I would not take away the basic liberty of a right to life.
Trump and the GOP are promising to turn back the clock on everything that might save this planet from self-destruction, because they'd rather have cash than a planet to spend it on, but that seems to me short-sighted.
This is untrue. They want security and prosperity for all. Getting people out of poverty etc. It is also a national security issue, energy independence keeps us safer. You can differ on these goals but don't say we just want cash to spend. That is not the reason for energy independence.
I think you will find that she is less tolerant of Netanyahu than Biden has been, but that's a hunch -- we'll have to wait for her to speak on the subject.
She already has.

I have always been opposed to minimum sentences. Law-makers in Washington cannot possibly see every possible circumstance. A judge hearing the whole trial is in a much better position to assess the subtleties of each case.
Ok, I disagree but is a debate topic.
On decriminalizing illegal border crossers, it's not like the U.S. has a real shortage of people in prison -- you're ahead of the rest of the world on that score. But do you really need more desperate people, seeking safety for themselves and their families, locked away, leaving their families in even more desperate straits than the ones that brought them to you in the first place?
The left always portrays the illegal immigrant as just some family wanting a better life. That may be true for some but it is also true bad people are coming across the border. Illegal border crossings need to be discouraged. We don't need to decriminalize illegal crossings we need to fix the immigration process so we can get vetted people processed more quickly and efficiently and keep unwanted people out.
