Protestant Exorcism?

Hey all,

I was just wondering if anyone could answer a few questions for me. These are as follows:

1) Is there any such thing as Protestant Exorcism?

2) If so, then how is it carried out?

3) What is the process that a Minister will go through when administering a Protestant Exorcism (if there is any such thing)?

3) Is it accepted in the Church of Scotland?

I know that they may be difficult questions to answer, and I greatly appreciate any replies to them.

Many blessings,

Out of curiosity, are you asking this hypothetically or is there actually someone who you suspect is posessed by a demon?

I was just thinking to myself, as I do a lot, and I would have expected there to be. For, did jesus not carry out exorcisms? And did He not go and give His disciples the authority to do so also, in His name.

I just find it a bit odd that there is a set and defined way in Catholocism, yet there doesn't seem to be in Protestantism. I mean, it would be well within Christianity to do so, would it not?
