Well I’m not pigeon breeder but I know a few..... And I don't think I will be looking for web info for backup to prove that one you can if you want every breeder has his or her own methods...

So go and eat Mac'y Dees for 1 year religiouly and nothing else and tell me how you feel... If you want try for a few generations if you would like and see how your kin will be affected....If you are not what you eat then what are you. Inside the evolutionary process an exception to the laws of nature...Evolution is something that nature is programmed to do by god metaphorically speaking. If you follow the righteous way you will reach purification as an individual and for the next generation and then eventually the whole of the human race will achieve the purification level that cannot be exceed 99%...

animal breeders arn't looking for "perfection". Often these "pure" breeds are full of genetic maladies and congential illnessses from inbreeding.

There is no such thing as perfection in evolution.

Evolution is not about reaching any platonic ldeal but of finding the best survivalble fit for a given environmental condition. When the condictions change (new environment) the best fit changes and since the environment is in a constant state of change so iss the best fit. There cannot be any perfect ideal state to move to. Things change too fast.

There is such a thing as purification in evolution but we will never find that out if there isn’t any people that want to try...

I guess you can say something can be "perfect" in a given environment but once that environment changes it is no longer perfect. In order for humans to be "perfect" in an evolutionary sense we would need to be perfectly fit for our environment (no overpopulation, no disease, etc etc) and our environment would never be able to change.

Well it will change the environment. Desalinization on a scale talked about here will raise the salinity of the ocean causing mass die offs in marien wildlife. The creation of so many new forests will raise the O2 levels in the air making it actualy toxic for animals and cause mass die offs on land. Its not a good idea. The environment is to complex to be controled with such simple mechanisms.

I think that you fail to realize how nature works as the forest grows the animals will reproduce and create more for everyone to eat and that will also take allot of the (new life that is) oxygen up.. and just in case you didn't know to sea levels are rising... If we ware control the amount of water vaporization that enters the atmosphere then we would have less storms...This comes from the threes taking the water from the ground and releasing it into the atmosphere slowly....After a while we would not need machines to feed the deserts because the rain would come back and do the job for us... fast forward a few years = balance and possible purification of the planet....

Just off the top of my head... many deserts are created because the clouds that should carry the water to them are blocked by mountains. We would need to get rid of the mountains first to do this.

Also, "purification" means killing of many species of animals that require desert conditions to live.

It would take many many years for species of animals to actually evolve (by many I mean thousands)... Is that the time frame for humans changing their own environment? Thousands of years?

If you want to learn more about our environment check the internet if you think that trees are bad for our environment and or evolutionary process in the desert well we may have a problem... Trees = no good ? more life = no good ? Cooler atmospheres = no good ? Sea levels balanced = no good ? why ? you tell me
