I have a close friend, a very wealthy man, who once told me that he'd figured out at an early age life is inherently meaningless, but that he could make his own meaning. "My attitude", he said, "is that my life is a game and every dollar I make is a point scored."

As of recent years, I have come to conclude that life's best purposes involve appreciating the journey while we are personally a part of it, and enjoying the opportunity to be grateful for the inheritance we receive from those that came before and hopeful for that which we leave for those who will outlast us.

This.

Is he a happy man ?

Is it worth the recipe or just accepting the holes and learning either how to dodge them or healtby ways to vet out of them?

The best I can do is tell you I know I guy that was healed of paralyzing anxiety and severe depression by believing in and praying to Jesus...or so he claims. I knew him before and after he started following Jesus and you just can't compare how he was then to how he is now from a health stand point. He's unrecognizable. He was totally disabled before. Now he lives a pretty normal life. It's the only true "healing" I've ever seen in my life. I've heard of people being healed but I saw this with my own two eyes. I'm now convinced that if someone deals with untreatable mental health issues there's a power out there that is willing and able to help them.

Having a purpose is not necessarily similar for all or most people.

Some will feel relief, others will feel the weight on their shoulders.
