Question about god jesus and the holy spirit.Who do we love the most?:)
I don't come from a Christian background, so they're not something I contemplate a whole lot.

The God as presented in the Bible doesn't really appeal to me. I understand some mystics view him differently, but this isn't something I know much on, nor feel compelled to study in great depth.

Jesus seems like a valuable teacher. I can appreciate him from what I know.

The Holy Spirit is interesting. Out of the three, I am probably the most interested in hearing about that one. What is the Holy Spirit?

There isn't really a straightforward or logical explanation of the Trilogy, and its going to differ in trinitarian Christianity vs Judaism or non-trinitarian Christianity, but generally speaking the Holy Spirit/Holy Ghost is usually the means by which God accomplishes things or communicates with people. So God the Father is the creator, who intervenes and sustains the world via the Holy Spirit, and became Incarnate as Jesus Christ to atone for the sins of the world. Or so the story goes at any rate.
I think I see.

So, God the Father is somewhat separate from the world, and the Holy Spirit is his action in the world?

Since people have a different view of who and what God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit is, I can only offer the Christian perspective.

The Bible, in dozens of various places and ways, portrays God as one being comprised of 3 persons. That's the defining Christian doctrine of the Trinity. A Christian who loves God should love all 3 parts or persons of Him equally, though most probably don't.

I suspect that Christians focus on Jesus the most, God the Father next, and the Holy Spirit last. Personally, I respect each one equally for the role they play in the universe and my life. Admittedly though, the Holy Spirit does tend to get less attention, even though he's the one living in my heart.
