Well, through most of my childhood, I was pretty much agnostic/indifferent, when I was about 12 my family got religion big time, and I kind of went along, for emotional reasons. What made me an atheist later on was a combination of learning to think more critically about things (giving me huge doubts because of how silly it then looked) and being exposed to the extreme hypocrisy of those theists I formerly looked up to and admired. It neither made sense, nor did it make people any better.

What would change my mind now: evidence or reasoning.

Perhaps, but I'm not sure anybody knows "the truth" (in some universal sense) but it looks to me like science can tell us far more about it than superstitions ever can.

I'm a Deist, a non-theist.... almost atheist (but they won't let me join 'em! )

Yes......... it's possible that I could become a Theist.
How? Only if God showed self to me in some direct way.
But do I believe that's likely? No.
