In 2 Corinthians 12:2-4 the author says they might believe in out of body experiences. But how can you have an out of body experience if the moment your spirit leaves you die?Like in James 2:26?

I'm not a Jehovah's witness, but I do believe your soul leaves as soon as you die. I think the person in 2 Cor.12:2-4 may have either had a vision from God or that the person died went to heaven and came back. I mean if God was able to take Enoch and Elijah without them dying to heaven, and Jesus raised people from the dead then certainly God could have done that.

I answered your question. Either the person was having a vision or they died and came back.Out of body experiences don't mean you were out of your body just means that you feel like you seem to perceive a location outside of you body. This doesn't mean that you are literally outside your body just that you are seeing a location that isn't where your body is at. At least that's my understanding I could be wrong on that. The author does say he doesn't know if the person was seeing the third heaven inside or outside his body so I don't know either.
