Do you think tulpas are important?:)
Tulpas are a specifically Tibetan concept, linked to the practices of certain schools.

They are a tool. They are important for people whose practice makes significant use of them, either by design or by accident.

For many other good practicioners they may be entirely irrelevant, at least consciously.

Or about Sakka, for that matter?
When Sakka took care of Buddha when he was too sick to take care of himself makes him important. This discourse between Sakka and Buddha is also quite thought provoking. I find the idea of Sakka being a tulpa quite interesting, especially when you take the concept of theism into question. (Who made who?)
