Question For The Group

Does anyone on this forum know the policies that Harris is advocating? So far I have heard or read nothing other that she likes Trumps policies on the border wall, no taxes on tips, and a few others.
Of course the lap dogs of MSM continue to prostrate themselves at Kamals feet.
From: Sen. Cotton clashes with ABC's Jonathan Karl after he dismissed Harris' past support for Medicare-for-all

"In an interview on ABC's "This Week," Cotton railed against Harris over her support for policies "like supporting decriminalizing immigration, or giving taxpayer funded health insurance to illegal aliens," arguing that former President Trump will work to draw a "sharp contrast" from her platform in the runup to the election.
The conversation took a turn when Cotton brought up Harris' past support for "taking away health insurance on the job for 170 million Americans."

"What do you mean taking away health insurance? What are you talking about?" the host interjected as Cotton continued to rattle off far-left issues previously embraced by the Harris campaign.

The Republican lawmaker reminded Karl that Harris declared her support for eliminating private health insurance as part of her "Medicare-for-all" push during her 2019 presidential campaign.

"I mean, that is not her position now," Karl replied, claiming that Harris said she no longer supports "Medicare-for-all."

"How do you know that is not her position now?" Cotton fired back.

"She has not said that. Maybe anonymous aides on a Friday night have said that, but the last thing that she said…," he continued before Karl interrupted.""

You could google" Kamala Harris policies" if you want. It's surprisingly easy.

Or you could start with conservative Judge J. Michael Luttig, because safeguarding our democratic processes allows us the luxury of sparring over policy.

"In voting for Vice President Harris, I assume that her public policy views are vastly different from my own, but I am indifferent in this election as to her policy views on any issues other than America’s Democracy, the Constitution, and the Rule of Law, as I believe all Americans should be."

Harris has been an extreme Leftist her entire adult life and her entire civil servant career. However, these beliefs has caused a wide range of problems that now matter to the American people. The way Harris was coronated, outside the Democratic process, has made it extra difficult for Harris to depart from that past. She has to reinvent herself to appear more moderate. This is not easy with the short time she before election, since she cannot be true to her lifetime of Leftist habits, but has to change 180 degrees. That woiuld be easier if she was looking at 2028 and had the time try on her new political clothes and make alterations. Trump has been the same for 20-30 years fine tuning the base clothes.

Harris is now undergoing retooling, but her old habits are hard to break or escape due to so much video evidence and so shorrt of a time. The fake news is left with the job of defining her, as the new and improved Harris. However, Senator Cotton, and others keep drilling the reality; how can fake news know, if Harris herself has not directly said? This carrying of the water, by fake news, pulls the curtain away and makes fake news look like fake news, and part of the latest scam to lie to the America people.

It will have to be up to Harris to tell us and also answer for her past. Fake news keeps drilling VP candidate Vance about a cat lady comment he made several years ago, as though that one things defines him and even caused inflation. If this type of gossip of minutia is the fake news standard, then all that Harris has said, since she entered politics, is also up for gossip. The fake news gossip standard has made it harder for Harris to avoid her radical left past, which is not as fashinable any more, but is now a political liability.

I like the idea the Harris team is rooting for the Trump policies, since they keep stealing his ideas. This is helping Trump win, based on issues. Only Trumo knows the details of his plans. Until Harris speaks for herself, others will try to define her, with lies and with all the video from her past. She and Walz are supposed to do a softball interview with fake news on Thursday, picking the least hard hitting Leftist person they could find. This iwll help her with any needed tweeks but may not be very informative.

Why would you ask this when both avoid to answer questions with any detail. Trump says things all of the time which the republicans have to reinterpret into a completely different statement. Trump as a populist candidate emphasizes image rather than meaning and he does not give any meaningful detail on what he will do. He is reaching out to the emotional side of people to win the election. The democrats figured this out and are now starting to do the same. If they return to the open intellectual presentation about what they would do then they could lose in this election. This election is all about what people feel and not about the specifics or details of any policy.

I searched.
I found...
Summary....
- Combat AGW.
- Free college (4 years).
- More gun control (not the useful kind, IMO).
- Medicare for all.
- Reconsidering border security <--- No clear policy.
- Progressive on LGBLT issues.
- Tax cut for low wage earners.
- No tariffs.
- End the US war in Afghanistan <---- WTF? Biden ended that.

Some thoughts....
- Not a communist platform.
- Trump is not more attractive than she is, despite his claims.
- She has no plan to stage a coup or insurrection.
- She doesn't appear to have raped anyone.

"Outside the democratic process..."

Hey brother. Political parties are private. They can put forth any candidate they want. The democratic process is the election, yes?

If you're worried about democracy you can't vote Democrat. They have been any thing but democratic

I would consider her idea to get the bipartisan congressional bill that Trump torpedoed as clear start to actually do something. Tactically I consider it a clear point. Beyond that the democratic position to put more money and personel into resolving the status of the people here is an important step in resolution of the process, the undocumented are largely those whose cases are unresolved because they can't be deported until their legal cases are finished yet they don't have visas or green cards or work permits etc, so are undocumented.

The republican party in Texas where I live are carefully working to restrict voters in the state that might support democrats. They are working intentionally on changing districts to favor republicans. Restricting voters is of course a very democratic idea which is why democrats are not democratic. Changing the will of the voters in the last election which the republican party tried was another shining example of democracy. Who cares what the people think they want we know better say the democratic republicans. Give the leader unreproachable control with absolute immunity so they can override the will of the people. Restrict rights of people when it comes to their own health, what an excellent democratic idea. Those damn democrats just aren't very democratic compared to the righteous republicans who know that god is only on their side.

A+ for the rambling post. The dems have a candidate selected by the bosses of the party the people of the party. The Biden administration pressured facebook and likely others to censor information. I'm sorry but the ramblings of a Democrat don't really impress me much.

I am an independent not affiliated with either party but live in Austin in the heart of Texas surrounded by both parties. What I said was not ramblings but references to actual things the republicans have done. I have have been mad at the democrat party at times also. But I do give you credit for learning from the current republican technique of being dismissive to problems in their own party and using a meaningless label like rambling to avoid the reality.
example
Questioner - Was president Trumps requests request for Pence to overturn the election appropriate in your opinion.
Republican answer. I have championed for freedom in my district and have improved the right to carry guns
Questioner - my question was did you agree with what trump did
Republican answer - we must stamp out the leftist mob rule during the riots
Questioner - You still have not answered my question
Republican answer - We need to make America great again God bless America

What I think the republican answer was and did not want to say - Hell I am not going to answer that question and get myself into trouble

This was a real questioner and real republican answering. No who rambles?

More rambling. If you want an answer from me ask a question don't drone on about what others have or haven't done.
