Didnt god say that the hebrews were the chosen people. So wouldnt you have to be a hebrew to go to heaven or even be considered by god regardless of whether or not you worship him?

Just a simple question. Not a flame or anything.

Well, there's this:

6 he says:
"It is too small a thing for you to be my servant
to restore the tribes of Jacob
and bring back those of Israel I have kept.
I will also make you a light for the Gentiles,
that you may bring my salvation to the ends of the earth." (Isaiah 49, NIV)
peace,
lunamoth

When you're in Christ...you are a "hebrew"...you are one of his chosen.

In short... no.

The Jews were God's chosen people, but in the New Testament, Jesus came to seek and save the lost, Jew and Gentile alike.

It says somewhere about how if you believe you will become a child of abraham. I don't remember where, though.

Plus there's "He that believes and is baptised shall be saved" not "He that beleves and is baptised and his a hebrew shall be saved"
