Fate of the world in accordance to Gen 8:22 and Jesus reignn for 1000 years on earth. Versus sabbatical teachings. Work 6 days rest 1, plant 6 years rest 1, if Jesus' 1000 years will be our rest. Ive wondered if by genealogy in the Bible to just over 6000 years old. Is therr maybe a miscalculation will the earths transfiguration be coming soon.

Although the physical earth may be much older than 6,000 yrs, the creation of Adam was roughly 59?? years ago..so yes, very soon....

ancinet hebrews only go back to 1200 BC, at wich time they were polytheistic Canaanites more then anything. Mesopotamians and a few Egyptians as well as other nomadic and semi nomadic people migrated to the holy land as well.

I think you might be interested in Joachin de Fiore who believed there were three ages.. The first being what he identified with the Old Testament (the Father)....the next age he identified with the Gospel (the Son) and a third age which he believed would occur..

He theorized the dawn of a new age, based on his interpretation of verses in the Book of Revelation, in which the Church would be unnecessary (which, of course, was considered heresy) and infidels would unite with Christians.

The third age he believed was symbolized by the Holy Spirit... As the year 1260 CE approached he believed that would be the time using the reference in the Book of Revelation.

Another expectation occurred when William Miller believed Christ would return around 1844...and this coincided with the year 1260 Anno Hijra.

The thousand years in my belief is when the teachings of the Returned Christ will have their effect...
