What do you call that religion that accepts all other religions, but you do not believe in them yourself?

Is that that one that Maize likes?

I think it requires an open mind and a love for coffee.:)

But anyway, I think the best thing would be to check out this thread.

I don't know much about it myself. I do think there's one quote in there that says a lot.

Universalists believe that God is too good to condemn man, while Unitarians believe that man is too good to be condemned by God.
They were both once their own religion before they merged.

Hey Soul, we have Unitarian Universalist forum that has lots of threads that may answer your question or you can ask and new one and we'll try to answer it as best we can! UUism isn't always the simplist religion to explain, but I'll answer any questions you have about it.

We do not follow all other religions, but we do believe that they have wisdom and truth that shouldn't be ignored. For example, I don't have to be a Buddhist or a Christian to appreciate the Buddha's and Jesus' teachings and apply them to my life.
What is the beliefs/requirements of that?

Basically this is it:

We, the member congregations of the Unitarian Universalist Association, covenant to affirm and promote

* The inherent worth and dignity of every person;
* Justice, equity and compassion in human relations;
* Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregations;
* A free and responsible search for truth and meaning;
* The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large;
* The goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all;
* Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part.

There is no dogma or creed you're required to follow. You can believe what you want as long as you're respectful of others beliefs.

Does that help?

Hell yes. I'd frubal you but I know you don't support the frubal system. Have frubals anyways.

I don't think I have ever fruballed you..but you deserved them this time.

I have heard some Wiccans say similar beliefs although I've never been able to pin down a source from which they have got this.

In addition to UU, most forms of Hinduism accepts all other religions.

From the Rig Veda (Book I, Hymn CLXIV, Verse 46):
Truth is One, though the Sages know it as Many.
