Qur'anic Mosques?

.lava

Veteran Member
dear friend, what does Qur'an alone mosque mean? there is no such a thing. the name Cami (mosque) comes from one of the names of Allah (El Camiu). words like Cemaat, Cem are also have the same root and they all mean one thing: 'Coming together, gathering together'. Qur'an openly says that Islam rejects any sections in religion. a Muslim also should reject sections in Islam because religion of God, as God itself, IS ONE.

I agree that Islam rejects the concept of "sects" even though many "Muslims" have divided themselves anyway.

As for an answer to your question in the basic sense, yes there are "Koran only" Mosques. You will find that many of those upholding the Koran alone will congregate in their homes if need be, just like the Jews were told to do during the time of Moses.

[10:87] We inspired Moses and his brother. "Maintain your homes in Egypt for the time being, turn your homes into synagogues, and maintain the Contact Prayers (Salat). Give good news to the believers."
