Racism Hate and Sin

God's existence cannot be demonstrated or proven, and so that puts the concept of "sin" in the same boat. You can't very well act against the will of a God that doesn't even exist in the first place.

As an aside, the article's author was a bit all over the place... like the way she mentioned her interaction with the little boy and the parents' harsh reaction to it, went on to complain about the hospital staff for a couple paragraphs, and then came back to the little boy and his parents as the example of racist sinners in action. She took a break from the main point of her entire "article" (if you can call it this - it is quite a mess) to air her grievances with hospital staff. This is stream-of-consciousness type writing, which could be okay in some contexts... but that is definitely not what this particular author was going for, I can tell. With her claims of "doing her research" (let's hope she doesn't write about it) at home under quarantine, etc. Her ideas are out there somewhere... without a hope of them coming down here to Earth, unfortunately.
Well, I did originally put the thread in the religious discussion section, so I was thinking most people participating would be coming from the starting position if some kind of faith or belief in God or the spiritual realm. Thanks for your perspective anyway.

And this is where I'll opt out. No matter how many rational and heartfelt or insightful things I can say, about racism and injustice, or how much charity I could do, I'll always be seen as a sinner in need of repentance. It's a belief I don't share, but you have the right to believe it.
Cheerio. Best wishes.
Thank you for taking the time to share your perspectives and thoughts. I appreciate it.

What are your thoughts or experiences on the subject? And what do you think about the idea of sin being the root of racism and hatred?...

I have difficulties to believe that people hate others because of race. More probably it is because of something else, for example they are afraid of losing something, or they don’t like the values of others person. But, I can agree with that the reason for all wrong actions is sin, or unrighteousness, that person has rejected God.
