The other day it randomly came to my mind "Yugioh Pyramid of Light movie", the nostalgia around it and just randomly remembering it.

And today I saw on Reddit that it is the Anniversary of that movie. I definitely didn't remember it based on a post I saw or anything. It actually came to my head because of something more random (I was thinking back to the first movies I've seen in theaters)

I've also had a couple of recent cases of learning a new word and then seeing it used more often randomly later when I never saw it before.

That has a psychological name , "the red* car syndrome"
You don't notice how many red* cars there are on the road until you decide you want a red* car.

* In some books it a blue car.

One of my first threads on RF was about coincidence, it got 1 reply saying "good luck"

Many years ago, when I was VP of IT for a large financial institution, it was time for the annual "Senior Staff Dinner & Theatre." The President invited all VPs and their spouses out to dinner and to a major theatre production -- in this case, it was Sunset Boulevard.

Well, I didn't think it proper to mention that my spouse was a guy, but I didn't want him left out, so I bought a single ticket to Sunset Boulevard for the same performance. I figured even if we couldn't sit together, we'd see it together and go home together.

Well, at the end of the dinner, I told the President I needed to walk before the theatre, so he gave me my ticket (remember, he bought them and he chose which ticket to give me."

Well you'll never guess what seat my partner had -- yep! The one right next to me, among all the senior staff and their spouses! When the President was told (by another senior who knew us) he was so discombobulated by the fact that I'd managed such a trick that he could barely watch the show.

Never had so much fun watching somebody else suffering trying to figure out my magic secret!:p
