Reason why you believe bible is of god

What are some reason why you believe the bible is the world of god?

I have so far:

1. Bible is infalliable

2. personal experince

3. because the bible tells you so

4. because of morality in the bible

5. its better to believe in god then not to because you might end up in hell, take safe chance

6. The earth is beautiful and to complex to come by chance

7. the law of therodynamics?

8. because you just believe and the bible proves itself?

9.and ummm bible prophecy,

10.bible being preservable for so long

11.billions of people believe in it

12. faith

13. bible has widsom and explains morals, gives us hope

14. Sciense isn't reliable

15. people died for the bible

16. overall harmony

17. people places town are real like sodom and ghommora and egypt so the stories have to be true.

and that about it ..... any other reason why people or believe in the bible?

What are we talking about here? The Jewish Bible or the New Testament? I don't think anyone believes the New Testament is the literal word of God.

You'll be surprise that MANY people believe the NT is the literal word of God.

I accept that the Bible is of God because I accept the proclamation of the Church: that Christ is the definitive Word of God to the created world, and the Bible forms part of that testimony.

As I read recently from Saint Bonaventure:

From all this it follows that it is impossible for anyone to start to recognize Scripture for what it is if he does not already have faith in Christ infused into him. Christ is the lamp that illuminates the whole of Scripture: he is its gateway and its foundation

For me, Christ is Revelation. The Scriptures are to him like the moon to the sun- illuminated by his light, not in and of themselves.
