A very easy and simple one, for stale bread. Called "Pain Perdu" (literally, lost bread in French) - just whisk up an egg, add milk, and put the bread in the egg & milk mix; wait until the bread has soaked up all the mixture, and the fry it. Eat with either brown sugar sprinkled over the bread, or golden Syrup.

Yummy. :D

Wow, I'll just bet you do, but mostly I like fish, baked and smothered in butter sauce, mainly cos I can digest it easily, and trout, grilled with a little butter, yummy.

Cheers

I've never used stale bread for that. In the States, that is what we call "french toast."

A recipe for taco meat I love:
Make the taco meat according to the directions of the seasoning packet, usually one packet of seasoning per pound of meat (deer meat is a great substitute for beef), and about 1/3 cups water. After the meat is made, add 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese per pound, 3 teaspoons of seasoning salt per pound, and 1 teaspoon of Maddog 357 (The regular is OK, but the special edition is best to use) hotsauce for one pound, 1/4 teaspoon for each pound after that. Make your taco like you normally would, take a bite, and hold on.

:( you make me sad.
Sorry Meesh--Die Eier von Satan is a Tool "song" actually (off the album Aenima); culturally important to me, and maybe some other Maynard fans. It also happens to be a recipe written in German. Here is the translation:
The Eggs/Balls of Satan

Half a cup of powdered sugar
One quarter teaspoo salt
One knifetip Turkish hash
Half a pound butter
One teaspoon vanilla-sugar
Half a pound flour
150 g ground nuts
A little extra powdered sugar
... and no eggs

Place in a bowl
Add butter
Add the ground nuts and
Knead the dough

Form eyeball-size pieces from the dough
Roll in the powdered sugar
and say the Magic Words:
"Sim sala bim bamba sala do saladim"

Place on a greased baking pan and
Bake at 200 degrees for 15 minutes
...AND NO EGGS

Bake at 200 degrees for 15 minutes
...and no eggs.

lol..thanks for the translation, Faint! That sounds like a pretty cool recipe and it would be sad to never know what that said!

For anyone who likes deviled eggs....mix the yokes with mayonase and the secret ingredient: hotdog relish. My wife makes em like this and, believe me, there are none better.
