Done here.
I'm so glad you asked.

It's Elementary. Kids in kindergarten through eighth grade discuss gay and lesbian related issues. (Seen on Free Speech TV)

Freedom To Marry. Same-sex couples struggle for marriage equality. (Also seen on FSTV.)

Bush Family Fortunes: The Best Democracy Money Can Buy. Greg Palast investigates the Bush family. (Also on FSTV.)

God in Government. The complex relationship between religion and politics in contemporary society. (Also on FSTV.)

Free Speech TV is the best thing out there, and one of many reasons we're glad we switched from cable to satellite.

I just watched "This is Spinal Tap" the other day. Does that count? :D
Yes, most certainly and for a valid follow up may I suggest The Return Of Spinal Tap for more music and laughs.

I am going to submit INSIDE DEEP THROAT. It has nothing to do with Watergate but is released in two versions, an R and NC-17 version.

Ok, I am a computer geek. I have been involved with computers since 1984 and remember well the whole birth and subsequent explosion that has caused such huge changes in our lives.

Triumph of the Nerds was a PBS documentary from the mid 90's and outlines several "billion dollar" mistakes made early on. Anyone interested in computers will find this show simply amazing. It fills in a lot of blanks and it more or less pretty accurate.

Do read some of the reviews on Amazon.com, they tell the story well.

I've seen both of those! Those were very informative documentaries. I love FSTV!

I'm a bit of a broken record here, but i'd say "The Corporation".

Fast, Cheap & Out of Control a great film to watch stoned...blew my mind. it's a film about topiary animals, lion tamers, naked mole rats, and artificially intelligent robots.

Trinity and Beyond. Come for the backround history of nuclear arms development, stay for the solid hour of stock explosion footage! Oh yeah, plus William Shatner.

Dark side of the moon. Fun for any closet conspirasy theorist. The mock interviews alone make this worth seeing (how'd they get Rumsfeld?).

That's a good documentary, too. How I forgot to mention that one, I will never know. I recommend anyone who hasn't seen The Corporation to watch it - and watch it soon!

Oh, and as long as "closet conspiracy theorists" have been brought up, an interesting documentary to watch would be 911 In Plane Site - The Director's Cut -. It basically provides "evidence" as to why the gov't was involved in the attacks. I don't buy into too much of it, but it's pretty interesting. At least makes you think.

Indeed Trinity and Beyond is a masterpiece. I love the score too. Thank god William Shatner does not appear onscreen. He is great for the voice-over though. :)

Video Game Invasion hosted by Tony Hawk. It's 2 hours, does an adequate job of reviewing video game history and it is up to date.

Not completely a documentary, but I really enjoyed "Good Night and Good Luck". Thoguht it was well done.

I have always been a fan of "Winged Migration" and "Baraka".

"Hotel Rwanda"
Go to www.hollywoodvideo.com and do a search on this film for more details.
Not a documentary, but a true story. Shows the conflict between the Hutus and the Tutsis. There is a short documentary before the film explaining why this conflict occoured. Thousands were killed and put into mass graves. I remember when they discovered these mass graves. This horrible event went largely unnoticed. A fascinating film, my jaw dropped on this one. A must see for all. It is not JUST a film about a tragedy, but has inspirational elements as well. It will leave you speechless. A story of triumph over tragedy. It is still on the new release wall at Hollywood Video.

"Super Size Me"
A completely healthy journalist goes on a 30 day McDonalds binge, and the results are shocking, or are they ??? Warning !!! This film may be hazardous to your fast food eating habits. :D

I was wondering if anyone had seen that, I've had it on my list to watch for a while. What did you think of it?
Well, if you consider that we own it on both VHS and DVD, I think that sort of speaks to our opinion of it.
