Greetings all who took the punt and clicked on this thread.

I hope you are enjoying your experiences here on the forum today.

I found this page a while back and then a little voice in my head said why not share it with all the folk at the forum?

Here's a taste -

I live in a modern, messy, technologically advanced society. I'm not trying to opt out.

But I am trying to regain my sense of childlike wonder. I'm trying to tap back into the simple beauty of appreciating the world around me and the people with whom I share that world.

Simple and healthy.

Perhaps Jesus had the right idea when he said, “Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven."

Something about having childlike wonder.

It would be hard to rediscover my sense of wonder in the place I live. It's nothing interesting. I have to go somewhere, closer to nature, to fully appreciate it. But even where I live I sometimes switch to awww! mode, when I see a squirrel or a hedgehog. This and I'm trying to make friends with every cat I meet on my way no matter where I'm going.
