Reffering to Himself in the third person?

Amos 4:11 "'I overthrew some of you, As God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, And you were like a firebrand plucked from the burning; Yet you have not returned to Me.' Says the Lord."

I am confused on the wording can anyone help me with this?

As far as I know sometimes Angels are also refred to as Lord. I haven't looked into this scripture in the original language but that could explain the third person speaking.
