greetings, y'all.

Before, on the HC forums, I went by beenherebeforebefore; hence my moniker now. stage name comes from my belief that I've lived prior lives, and hence have been "here" before, in other incarnations. I don't necessarily subscribe to any particular beliefs about how or why reincarnation/transmigration occurs.

Interested in hearing people's paranormal/spiritual/mystical/religious/etc experiences, but also willing to discuss beliefs and the nature of knowledge.

Personally, I'd characterize my beliefs as eclectic solitary animist: every thing and non-thing is/has spirit. I'm a true skeptic, that is, skeptical in the original sense of the philosophical term, doubtful of our individual and collective ability to truly understand the cosmos in which we live. But I want to find out what people's experiences are, and how that contributes to what they believe. So I'm interested in the sciences, history, mythology and folklore, the arts, religion...

Welcome to RF beenherebefore again As you might know, there are quite a few people from HC here (though I'm not). I'm very interested in the belief in animism. Maybe we could talk about it sometime Again, welcome.

Thanks! I already feel welcome here; and I do like the discussion threads I've checked so far.

Freethinker44 asked. Answer: HC closed down their discussion boards effective today. several of us have checked out this board, others may be coming, and some may be checking out other boards elsewhere. They gave us a week's warning and no explanation of why they were deep-sixing the boards. Oh well.
