I was just curious about what the religious demographic at RF was. Please vote in the poll! :)

Arrghh, I missed the poll that was stickied above. My apologies. Oh well, it might be interesting to see what the results are with this more condensed poll.

Done here.
I said Buddhist, but I'm also an atheist, and would like to point out once again that atheists, agnostics, and deists are not necessarily adherents of "no religion," nor are theists of any kind necessarily adherents of any religion.

Just an opinion, but I'd say that you should've chosen the atheist slot. It seems that to be a Buddhist & an atheist would
mean that Bhuddism is your philosophy. I tend to lean that way too, finding Buddhism to be practical & attractive.

Can I be a Hindu and an atheist?

Oooo...tough one. Unlike some forms of Buddhism, I thought Hindus had supreme beings.
That would make it difficult to be an atheist. But who am I to say you can't, so you have my OK to do it.

You people just don't seem to get how busy I am. I don't have time to return every petty call, when I have big, important things to do, like causing natural disasters to punish the existence of homosexuals.

If you have time, you may want to speak with your editors.

Yes you can. As you now there are a few Atheistic schools of thought in Hinduism. They did invent the concept after all. (As far as history can be trusted) But voting in both places might be a bit of a problem.

A poll like this can be really difficult, as the religious and theological views held by all people are quite complex and not mutually exclusive,

I am just a plain, ordinary, follower of Jesus. I used to be a Baptist, but right now I don't what I am.

I don't follow a religion. I do, however, have a philosophy that I adhere to. I generally believe that there is no god and that humans should treat each other as best as possible. We should work together to make each others lives better.

Happy times.

I am just curious why there aren't any eloquent believers posting on RF.... well, not that I have noted.
