Religion of Holy Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.) before He was Commissioned.

DawudTalut

Peace be upon you.
Peace be on all.
Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be on him), because of pure nature, always refrained from wrong rituals of then-Arabic society. He never practiced idolatry.

During his time of Prophethood, he (s.a.w.) used to say to Hazrat Aisha (r.a.), " I have never eaten from the sacrificial offerings made to idols." (1)

Hazrat Ali (r.a.) relates, once someone said to Holy Prophet (s.a.w.), "O Messenger of Allah have you ever worshiped idols?" The Prophet (s.a.w.) said, "No." Then the people inquired, "Have you ever consumed alcohol?" The Prophet (s.a.w.) responded, "No." Then he said, "I have always detested these things, but prior to Islam, I had no knowledge of religious law or faith". (2)
