Atheism leads to fragmentation, the op was about fragmentation..
Say you live in a communist country, then it would be bad to do your best, and seek unity in the country. You would be supporting evil by doing that.
That's how it is when atheism takes hold in a country. There is no point in winning an Olympic medal for your country or something when a large share of your fellow countrymen are atheists, because you would just be supporting evil. So you need to find activities where atheists are excluded, so it leads to fragmentation.

Atheism is evil now? Funny considering the number of reports of violence in the world right now are based on religious ideologies and politics. Atheism is neither.

People can only unite based on spirit. Or so to say the people who like blue can only unite with the people who like red if they unite based on the love in liking.
But that doesn't work with atheism, because they consider love as electrochemical information processing in the brain.
